There are two things you (and others with the same moral dilemma) could do in that situation (and that I can think of right now):
- You could vote 2.5 while your work is still under judgement and remove the vote the submission is no longer under judgement. 2.5 is the average of the scale, so it will foreseeably manipulate the outcome the least.
- You could do 'penance'. ;) Watch and rate 25 works of other artists which are currently listed as Under Judgment. ( https://www.newgrounds.com/movies/browse?artist-type=unjudged&interval=all )
But all things considered, your votes are currently worth 1.60 votes. Getting to a voting power between 4 and 5 can be done rather quick, so I don't think you gave yourself too much of an advantage there.
